Hi Experts,
I am supposed to get master data from Non-SAP system to BW4HANA system.
I have added the Non-SAP system's (Oracle's) tables as a virtual tables into my BW4HANA System. It is added successfully (under "Catalog" folder). Later I have created the HANA views ( just view, not Attribute/Analytic/Calculation view) on these virtual tables.
Can these objects (Virtual Tables or Views) hold the master data physically or it is just stored in volatile memory in BW4HANA system & every time our query will fetch the master data from the Oracle(Non-SAP) system?
Thank You,

Hi,
For data replication you need to create a source system based on SDA in application layer. Then standard objects (datasource, characteristic, transformation, DTP) will help you to load data.

Erdem
