Can SAP Analytics Cloud send alerts when a KPI reaches a specified limit?

Hello, 
Can SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning send alerts when a KPI/number reaches a specified limit?
If yes, how?
If not, is there a workaround that does not include thresholds (that are not always available, and I don't know why).

Datachange insights is the feature that sends alerts when KPI reaches the Limit that you set. Please find the detailed info in the below blog
