Can not select input parameter for Action in Business Process Automation

Hi Experts,

I am following below blog to replicate the same for employee relocation request - process automation.

1. i have created the form
2. i have created the action and tested which works fine.
3. in the process i placed the action below form.
4. when action is placed it expects mandt field where i have to provide employee ID, so i selected input then the side panel displays fields available in the form, but i can not able to select.

Kindly let me know what is the issue and where i am missing. Please help

The issue resolved.

I was adding the text field and making the input validation on right side as number which is incorrect.

There is one more control as number # when I used this, my input is enabled for selection.
