Solution Manager installation is complete. The \usr\sap\<SID(ABAP)>\tmp folder is 0 KB. However, the \usr\sap\<SID(JAVA)>\tmp folder is 8 GB. This is causing the drive where /usr/sap is located to become full. Can I dlete \usr\sap\<SID>\tmp*?
Request clarification before answering.
/tmp stands for temporary folder. Generally speaking, deleting these files or even the tmp folder will not harm system function.
However 8 GB is still a high number, please verify what files are stored there and whether any files specific to your own needs then decide to delete or not from your operation perspective.

Hi
Please try this
Yes, you can delete the contents of the `\usr\sap\<SID>\tmp` folder to free up space on the drive.
1. Stop SAP Services: Ensure that all SAP services (both ABAP and JAVA stacks) are stopped before proceeding.
2. Delete Contents: Delete all files and folders within the `\usr\sap\<SID>\tmp` directory.
3. Restart SAP Services: After deleting the contents, restart your SAP services (both ABAP and JAVA stacks).
4. Monitor Disk Space: Monitor the disk space to ensure it has been freed up appropriately.
Deleting the contents of the `\usr\sap\<SID>\tmp` folder is safe and commonly done to reclaim disk space.
