Can grow is not working in page footer?

Hi,

Below is my report design

Page footer A

Formula field (set to Can Grow)

Page footer B

Fields

The formula field just won't grow at all but it work perfectly at other section.

Why is it so?

Hi Yong Ling,

Which version of Crystal Reports are you facing this issue with? What does the formula field contain?

I tested the can grow option in Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Service Pack 4 using a formula field which contains concatination of First Name and Last Name. The can grow works just like in any other section of the report.

Please let us know the requested information and we will be able to look into it further.

Hello Abhishek,

I could reproduce the issue with CR XI R2 SP 2 (11.5.0.313)

Formula :

{Employee_Addresses.Address1} + "ABC"

put this in page footer and apply "canGrow" it doesnt work for page footer and works if placed in other section.

Hi Abhishek,

I don't know which version of CR I'm using, it come with the Visual Studio 2008 Ver. 9.0.30729.1 SP.

The formula field contain a Parameter field concatenate with some string.

The Parameter field is something I convert number into words.
