Can different environments be maintained with the same tenant in SAP Build Process Automation?

Hi,

Is it possible to maintain different environments (Dev/QA/Prod) with the same tenant for SAP Build Process Automation?

If not then is there a way:

1) to optimize licensing cost for different tenants?

Or

2) Configure same "Desktop Agent" to listen to multiple tenants at the same time? (This is to save the Virtual Server cost)

venkat_vyza But the agent is usually set to listen to only one tenant at a time. Is there a way that different tenants can send it automations without having to reset the agent?

Can you share a brief description of the use case? I cannot see the reason for switching Desktop Agent in unattended mode from one prod to another prod environments.

venkat_vyza : We can configure the agent with multiple tenants but I don't think we can make the agent listen to multiple tenants at the same time.

janv : The requirement is not to enable agent to listen to multiple prod accounts at the same time but it is toas use same tenant for multiple landscapes (Dev/QA/Prod) or make the Desktop agent listen to tenants for multiple landscapes (Dev/QA/Prod) at the same time.

@pg92 : So, you don't want to go by a VM where you can install multiple desktop agents (equal to the number of tenants)!?

Multi environment management has been developed in SAP Build Process Automation and is under internal validation. It will be released beginning of 2024.
