Calendar date prompt brings no result in WebI report built on HANA view.

Hello Experts,

I am working on a report in which the date filter/prompt of type Calendar does not brings any result in the report. However if I change the filter properties to select the data from the list of values then the data appears in the report but choosing a date from calendar option disappears.

Requirement is that the user should select a date from a calendar picker instead of list of values list. The object used from Hana Calculation view for the date filter is of type Date.

I have tried changing the locales of the report from US to UK but no luck . Any suggestions where could be the issue?

Does the Date object you are filtering on contain time?

When connected with HANA through the OLAP connection, in the WebI query panel create a date filter from the Attribute object of the analysis dimension rather than the dimension object itself. From the properties of the attribute object filter uncheck "Select Only From List" . The calander will be able to filter source data.
