BWA 7.20 Indexing error in BW 7.30 system

Hi,

We are not able to index the InfoCubes or the Master Data (f4) using the BW Accelerator. We are on BW 7.30 with BW Accelerator 7.20 Rev 25.

We tried deleting the indexes and rebuilding them. It didn’t work.

This error occurs only in the Test system and not in Production.

The error message is "Remote communication failure with partner

http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx:30203/asxml/indexCellTable/HTTP Status 402: Kernel error:ICM_HTTP_TIM". This is not a time-out issue.

The indexing (BW Accelerator index) of InfoCubes was working before and the problem started to occur after

recent upgrade to BWA 7.20 Rev 25. We have tried restarting the BWA Server, Index server and deleting

old/large trace files but none of them helped.

The BWA blades (no cluster) Q are more than two hops from the BW system.

We researched OSS and found this note 1881050 - Error during Initial Indexing with BWA 720 Rev 27 but

this applies only to Revision 27 of BWA 7.20.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gopalakrishnan,

Check with BASIS admin for connection issues. Hope that is fine. There are some tcodes for it.

For query to run at the moment, you can delete the indexes.
