BW4HANA connection to MySQL DB

Hello,

Is there any way to connect my BW4HANA server to a MySQL DB ? I want to extract data from this external db to bw and create reports.

We have tried via SDA, but is not working, on isql is working, the connection is established but in the Provisioning tab i get a <NULL> when i want to see the tree, schema, etc.

Is there any way i can connect, without CLOUD or SAP DATA SERVICES.

I don't think SDA supports mySQL, as it is not included in the Note:

I would suggest to use SDI:
