BW Query statistics not available for CDS-based Queries on transient providers in S/4 HANA system

Hi,

I have built BW Queries on top of CDS Views exposed as transient providers in the S/4HANA system. However, I am unable to find the statistics for these queries.

I have enabled statistics by setting it to 'ON' in Transaction RSDDSTAT, but the data is still not being captured in the underlying table RSDDSTAT_OLAP.

Could you please help me with how to capture statistics for BW Queries in S/4HANA?

Hi,

would you please confirm if there is RSADMIN parameter RSDDSTAT_GLOBAL_OFF = X in the system(see KBA 3544561)? If you are familiar with ABAP debug, you may set break-point at METHOD _insert_evdata_db / CL_RSDD_STATOLAP for trouble shooting.

Hi Sheldon, Thanks for the response. RSDDSTAT_GLOBAL_OFF is not set to 'X' in RSADMIN and I have also deleted the entry.

Thanks Sheldon. I have done following changes to capture the Query statistics.

1) Deleted the entry for Object = 'RSDDSTAT_GLOBAL_OFF' in Table RSADMIN by using program SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN.

2) In transaction RSDDSTAT, switched on the statistics for the Queries

3) In Analysis for Office, activated the parameter 'AlwaysDoApplicationSteps' in technical configuration.
