Hello Experts,

We have installed BI content of Purchasing, when we tried to load data from staging layer ADSO to Integrated DWH layer ADSO. The error message pop up, no source system ID exists for source system(logical system)CONTRACT with following errors(attachment).

Another issue , some infoobjects of the Datasource (2lis_02_itm) in the BI content are greyed out. Individually we activated the infoobjetcs but its still in greyed state.

Solution we tried:

1. we have assigned the source system ID(for all system available)

2.Restored the source system

can someone help me with this issue.

and for clarification, to activate Business Content there is tx. RSORBCT. Maybe this was a misunderstanding at the beginning of the conversation ...

Hello Roland,

Thanks for your inputs.

As soon as, I saw the error message I did install 0CONTRACT separately and then reinstalled the transformations.

Data load fails again with new DTP with same error message.

The root cause is that you are not using BW-MT to maintain your logical Systems on BW/4

Furthermore, as it is still not clear for if you applied some correction check the following

Note 2603241 - Overview and summary of the most important SAP Notes in the context of BW transformat... and if you already implemented
Note 3007273 - Note Analyzer integration into SNOTE you can use the attached XML from the SAP Note directly in tx. SNOTE

From the SAP Correction which I have found, it is suitable to apply the latest SP Level for SAPK-2000xINBW4CONT/B

Best Regards Roland

I have a serious doubt that you used tx. RSA1 to maintain anything on BW/4 as it is not supported at all.

furthermore SP06 was released one year ago, and there is a huge potential that you problem is fixed already.

hence, DON'T use tx. RSA1 on BW/4 at all!

Hello Roland,

Thanks again for your reply.

1.BW4HANA we have the folder for source system in LHS. Upon expansion we can maintain the IDs for Source system.

2.I dont get the root cause for this error. Wondering how the logical system is related to the infoobject 0CONTRACT.

Thanks in advance

Hello Roland,

Thanks for your reply.

1.We are in BW4/HANA 2.0 SP06

2.We maintain the IDs for all the logical system through RSA1 (entries which is available in BD54)

3.We are able to process the data for other LO modules only for Purchase we face this error message

Error Message : No source system ID exists for source system(logical system)CONTRACT

We don't get the linkage between logical system and CONTRACT.

(CONTRACT HAS NO MASTER DATA IN BW)

Thanks in advance

Hello M S,

as always, don't expect a proper answer without following the Rules of Engagement

secondly: what kind of System we talking about? BW, BWoH, BW/4, Version and SP-Level?

thirdly: did you applied any correction in advanced or search for this error first?

best regards ROland

Hello Roland,

Thanks for your reply.

The version BW4HANA 2.o.

I have searched for this error, every solution points to the SOURCE SYSTEM ID Assignment. But we have already assigned the ID.

Restored the source system too.

Thanks in advance
