Hello Experts,

We are trying to transport BW Info objects and are getting strange errors like below:

Start of the after-import method RS_IOBJ_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBJ ( )

Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for AREA L

The errors affect the following components: BW-WHM-MTD (Metadata (Repository))

SAP BW version is 751 Release 003.

Has anyone come across this error and the solution.

Hi Please check your navigational attributes if it they are in active status...from out side they may look as activated, but if you inside the navigatinal attribute of your objects they will be in iancive status...activate them and retransport it..

Hi Lakshmikant,

I am seeing this error, but the composite provider and the virtual provider based on these infoobjects are working fine in Quality. So what exactly this error points to is not clear.

However in Production, they are all inactive. So that leaves me with a puzzle that how come same TR works in Quality and not in Production.

Quality and production systems are usually not 100% identical. Another transport may have taken an object to Q and that may not have gone to P.

Display the inactive object in P and perform check (Ctrl+F2) and that usually explains why the object is inactive. If the check shows the object is consistent, then try to activate it using corresponding program.
