BW 7.5 upgrade with S/4 upgrade. Use of ODP to source CDS views

Hi All,

Step 1: AS IS state. Source system : ECC . BW 7.0 system on MS SQL. Using SAPI .

Step 2: to_be interim state. Source system : ECC .... upgrade to BW 7.5 system on MS SQL. Using SAPI

Step 3: Change source system to S/4 HANA.... BW 7.5 system on MS SQL .

We have identified a list of deprecated datasources in S/4. We are finding out CDS views in S/4 that will replace these deprecated objects for example Equipment_attr, employee_attr etc.

How do we connect these CDS views via RSA2 to BW? is it possible with SAPI? or Do we have to mandatorily use ODP? Can we use ODP and SAPI  in parallel for same s/4 system? (the deprecated datasources use ODP and other datasources stay AS IS using SAPI.)

Anybody with experience in such a situation.
