BW/4HANA Admin Cockpit (web) - can it be switched off again?

Hi,

We have recently activated the BW/4HANA admin cockptit (TC BW4WEB). Whilst there is some useful functionality in there for some (Great content about table sizes!) the usage proofs to be more problematic for others ( partly due to minor issues).

I was wondering if it is possible to switch off the cockpit for some, and let others keep working with it, at least until all issues are resolved.

I thought this would be as simple as remove the authorisations, but even when the cockpit authorisations are removed, the web interface keeps popping up.

I know the question was asked before, but I never saw an answer, so I thought I would try again.

Any suggestions anyone?

I now de-activated it for everyone by disabling service BW4_PCM_SRV. I am not sure if that is the way to do it but it doesn't seem to break anything else.

I would prefer to have it for some people and not for others.
