Business Objects Reports Hosted on an External Website

Hi ,

I have to host some reports on an external website for external users to use the Reports, I did using openDoc but there is an issue with the security since the link shows the Server names and tokens etc.. Is there a way or software in Business Objects where we can host the reports on external websites like Tableau Public ...Please provide me your insights if you ever encountered these type of issues .. We are on version BO 4.1 SP6

Hi,

Why can't they use BI Launchpad?. It works both internal and external users.

Tableau public is to share the data to anyone on the web.

Launchpad/opendoc is protected with authentication. BOBJ maintains a session once user logged-in and controls based on given privileges.

there are few methods available to share your report/data in web. e.g. revere proxy is also supported in BOBJ if you want to hide the URL. Hope this helps!
