BTP: Structuring subaccounts in directories

Folks,

So far, we have not used directories to structure our BTP subaccounts wihtin the global account. Since subaccounts have become numerous over time, it's time to group them within meaningful subdirectories. For now, we do not plan to manage entitlements on the directory level. We want directories purely for structuring purpose.

My question is: If I create subdirectories and move subaccounts into them, does this affect the subaccount in any way? I don't want to affect a running system in terms of authorizations, entitlements and so forth.
