I am using CDS Based BOPF Crud application. On Create, I am using F4 to select Material no, which should also populate Material Description and Uom from the F4 table. To achieve this i am using additionalBinding annotation with @Consumption.valueHelpDefinition which works fine if the target fields are editable. My requirement is to make them read only. If i do so, the values will appear on F4 select, but on Save, they will disappear. In debug, i can't find them in any of the data tables or draft tables. This works totally fine if they are not Read Only.
Please help me out.
