BOM changes are not uploaded in SAP through Windchill software

Hi Sir/Mam ,

Our client is creating and changing master data in Windchill software. But when we create new BOM in Windchill software it is successfully transferred in SAP via PI/PO server but when any Changes in BOM is done in Windchill then these changes are not fetched in SAP. SAP system is giving the response that  

The group data for the material xxxx is locked by PS4_POUSER

It is happening randomly , some time BOM changes are updated successfully . Need your assist.

This issue occurs when another process or user session (most likely from the PP/PI/PO interface) is actively working on or has locked the material group data.

If someone else is also working on the same BOM, this error will appear.

To resolve the issue, simply ask the user to close their session, and the problem should be resolved.

OK Sir , Can we check it in SM12 transaction ? It is communication user who uses PI/PO server to transfer BOM. System is showing that communication user is locking group data for the material.

Yes you can Use SM12 to monitor and analyze lock trends to identify recurring issues.
