Hi Daya Jha,
Thank you for your update!!
mentioned KBA is for some other issue (Error related to job server).

I'm experiencing the same issue with Designer 4.2 SP12 on my new Windows 10 PC. The KB's "workaround" looks like it requires work to be performed on the *server*, not on my PC. Is that correct?
None of our other Windows 10 users are experiencing this issue -- so I'm reluctant to do anything on the server.
The KB states "This issue is fixed in the release(s) listed in the Support packages and Patches section of this SAP note." -- which lists 4.2 SP12. Since I'm already running 4.2 SP12, does that mean I must be experiencing a *different* issue?

Hi Daya Jha, from reading earlier posts it did not seem like that KBA would resolve this problem, however I have applied the workaround steps and my problem is resolved. Thank you very much for your assistance!

Hi Clint,
Please check is DSUserConfig.txt file is updated properly.
To enable tracing for Designer application you will modify the file %DS_USER_DIR%\conf\DSUserConfig.txt as follows:
Note: The trace file will be located at %DS_USER_DIR%\log\DesignerTrace.csv
%ds_user_dir% = C:\Users\LoggedIntoWindowsAs\AppData\Local\SAP\Data Services

Daya Jha
