BO4 - 30650 error action acnnot be performed refresing report

Hi,

User got 30650 error refreshing report.

Refrteshed a day later and okfine.

We clear the cache daily - I'm thinking posisble cache corruption - saw similar note for xir2 - we are using bo4 sp8

Any other possible reasons.

Hi,

"Cannot perform the intended action on this document. (WIS 30650)"

This webi error can be triggered if you attempt to open a new version of webi report on a older version of BIP WIReportServer/webi rich client.

For example, if the webi report is developed with BI4.1 SP02 Patch02 client and somehow if got export into a BI4.0 SP08 Enterprise, you'd run into this WIS 30650 error if you try top open it on BI4.0 SP08 BILaunchpad.

users use launchpad rather than webi rich client- can rule out version mismatch in this case.

Any other thoughts/causes of this error?

Hi,

- What is the work flow that user open this Webi report in BI Launchpad?  Does this "Cannot perform the intended action on this document. (WIS 30650)" error occurs when the report is opened or when it is been modified?

- Are all WIReportServers in the BI4.0 cluster share the same cache directory/folder?

- Can you persistently replicate this (WIS 30650) error per user's work flow?  If so, can you recreate this problem report and add the report object one by one and see which one and where it got failed?

Hi,

Just open and refresh - cannot replicate when tried here logged in as user was ok.

Seems intermittent issue.
