Hi,
Adaptive Job server--->properties --->Destination--->FileSystem--->User name Administrator --->Password ( Now updated )
Now reports those are scheduled for publication to filesystem might be using Old password for Administrator.
My problem is how can I update, the password for All reports those are using File system for Publication or I have to do it one by one?
Please let me know if anybody has an idea.
Regards,
Tushar
Hi Tushar,
if you configured all the schedules with old user name and pwd, you have go to each and every schedule and change it.
To avoid this type of issues, we need to be little bit careful with the Job server destination configuration.
When we use File system, we will use some directory or path to save the output of the report.
we can skip the user name and pwd configuration by giving access to the account which is currently used to run the SIA.
Make sure that account should have access on the shared folder or Drive to place the reports.
once it is over, you can use only the shared folder or Drive in schedule to place the report directly. No need to give user name and pwd.

Hi JRK,
All Report contains same user 'Administrator'. Also user in Adaptive Job server--->properties --->Destination--->FileSystem is Administrator.
So if we are using user in every report then what is the purpose of using user in Adaptive Job server--->properties --->Destination--->FileSystem?
I thought if I update user in Adaptive Job server--->properties --->Destination--->FileSystem , it will be applicable to all reports.
Its confusing for me.

Tushar
if you update the user name and pwd in the Adaptive Job server, then no need to update same user name and pwd for all the schedules.you can schedule it with the blank user name and pwd.
But in your case, you have updated job server and schedules with the user name and pwd.hence you need to change user name and pwd in all the schedules and Job server.
