Hi, We are using SAP BO 4.0SP4 on linux with Oracle 11g as system
database.
while doing the installation we have not created 2 schema users for CMS
and AUDIT and we used the single schema for both the DB's.
Now we have realized and would like to create separate DB's for CMS and
AUDIT as SAP suggested.
So can you please help us on this.
we have data in the DB and having 2 clusterd environment (2nodes).
2 Nodes on 2 separate servers.
Thanks,
Kalyan
There is no migration path for Audit DB.
simply create new Audit DB connection pointing to new schema. Or you can use your DBA tools to move all the Audit tables from current schema to the new DB and update connection to it in CMC.

Thanks Denis.
W hat we are planning for CMS is
1. Creating new schema user in Oracle with required permissions
2. Copying\Import all the Old CMS tables to new schma
3. using cmsdbsetup.sh recreate option mapping the application to new user.
4. for Audit updating the new credentials in CMC
5. Please confirm.
Thanks,
Kalyan
One clarification Denis,
The statement which you mentioned "There is no migration path for Audit DB, simply create new Audit DB connection pointing to new schema",
Does it mean from BO/SAP end we don't have any migration path for Audit DB but respective DB team (SQL Server DB team) can move all the Audit tables from current schema to new db using DBA tools?
Please clarify whether my understanding is correct or not.
Thanks
