Binary file transfer from Content Server via Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) Framework

Hello Community,

we are using the SAP CDC Connector and the SAP Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) Framework to replicate data from our SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS1 on-premise to an external system. This works for data stored in the HANA DB.

Now I have the realize the request to transfer originals (PDF files) from SAP document info records to this external system, too. The files are store in the SAP Content Server. Can this be done using CDC & ODP?

Hello Community,

since no one seems to have an answer to my question, which transfer method could be used instead?

(Writing the files by job to a network drive and reading them back from there would of course be possible, but not a very modern method.)
