BI Launchpad Log out - Leave Site message

Hi everyone,

it appears that since BI4.3 SP04 Patch 9 that when a user logs out of BI Launchpad, the user now has to respond to a non Business Objects generated dialog box

Leave site?

Changes you made may not be saved.

The entire browser remains unresponsive until the user responds to the dialog

(also attached as a picture)

I cannot believe that a non Business Objects dialog box like this can be deemed to part of the standard Business Objects workflow.

Has anyone else encountered this and more importantly, has anyone come up with a workaround?

Seems like this is an old 4.2 feature that came back since 4.3 SP4 Patch 8.

Hello. I have exactly the same issue. However, I don't see the "BILP.showWarningDialog.onBrowserAction" parameter in the "FioriBI.properties" file. The installed version is SAP BI 4.3 SP4 P11. Any suggestions please?

You have to add the parameter manually — I did it, but it didn’t work for me.
