BI Broadcaster Security - Disable broadcast button from Query Designer 7

Hi all,

I would like to disable or remove broadcasting button from Query Designer 7 and Analyzer 7.

Does anybody knows how to do that? Does exist any standard function/object with that?

I'm using Information Broadcasting NW2004s in query/workbooks (SAP BW7.0) to per-calculation and to send via email.

The problem is: All users can create broadcasting settings and send via email. We only want this option to some users (eg. developer team).

I, also, tried to remove the authorization object S_RS_BCS but the problem still the same.

Hi,

The broadcasting & sending mail option can be stopped by disable broadcasting buttion.

Open WAD  & go into BUTTON_TOOLBAR_2 properties. there four buttions 

Select select the button   -> edit properties -> find the launch broadcasting button & by default it is checked enabled -> uncheck , make it disabled .

Hi Anand,

I'm not using WebTemplates, only Bex Analyzer reports. Is possible disable the button in Analyzer? Or disable in portal?

Hi Silva,

Open query in Analyzer, select Toolbar option  (below yellow colored , lefthand side ) & custimize it.
