BexAnalyzer with Citrix. My personal Hell

Dear Colleagues,

First of all, i'm quite desperate with BI NW04s, specially in terms of performance.

Our problem is related with BexAnalyzer load times into Excel after running RRMX. This load time takes more than 30 seconds. This is something that we cannot assume to goLive.

We do open a message like two months ago in SAPSupport with no good results by the moment. I think they are lost, too.

I'll please to know someone who got BI NW04s and use BexAnalyzer through Citrix, and give us any clue or tips ?

We have made a lot of traces, i mean ST05, ST03, BexAnalyzer trace and we are getting lack of new ideas to face this problem. We saw different access to Windows registry in BexAnalyzer trace but we don't know if these are normal.

I have used BI 7.0 thru Citrix, did not face much issues. We are on BW ABAP SP 13, BI 7.0 Front end patch 2 for BEx Analyzer. Thew new SPS and front end patches work much better. If updating the patch is an option try that.

Glad to hear this, we are actually in the following patch levels.

- BI 7.0 with BW, BASIS and ABAP SP14.

- SAPGUI 6.40 patch 26 and BI addon 7 patch 14_03

- Citrix server PS4 and citrix client 9.2

- Excel 2003 SP2

What level is your Citrix? it's only to get a reference we got doubts about which Citrix levels could be appropiate.
