Bex Reports not working in BO 4.1 system after Oracle upgrade to 19c

We have updated the Oracle database from 11 to 19c and after that Bex reports taking huge time to execute and getting timeout error and the BW system is 7.3.

The reports created on top of Infoset and sometime report executed fast and sometime getting below timeout error also we have noticed when we executing the system is utilizing temp table space heavily.

Kindly help me to find out what is causing this issue.

Hi Vinay,

the "C_DB_FUNCTION" executes ANY SQL statement. SO the dump you highlight is not really a straightforward clue. Since a TIME_OUT Runtime Error is shown, I guess this is about a long running Oracle SQL Statement. At first, make sure the latest SBP is correctly applied (yes, make sure the catsbp was running) and that all Oracle Parameters are set correctly. Then if the issue happens still, open a ticket at SV-PERF-DB-ORA, or let your seasoned DB experts to analyze that longrunning sql.
