BEx Query - Hide (can be shown) and dynamic filter settings for KPIs

Dear Community,

I have created Key Figures in BEx Query Designer and selected the Hide (can be shown) option.

Unfortunately they now appear in the Dynamic Filters section. I have checked other queries we are using and I am unable to reproduce why the same settings for the formulas have different results.

For my purpose the KPIs should be "Hide (can be shown)" and NOT appear in the Dynamic Filters section. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to solve the issue?

The screenshots in attachment show the settings for a KPI and the info screen when the query is executed.

Dear all, the parent KPIs have to be set to collapsed. The KPI itself has to be set to "Always show". Best, jamie

Dear community,

I have more or less a reverse question: we have a query set with some KPIs faded out (Hide (can be shown)). How do I show these key figueres within the executed query / table?.

Hi all,

I am referring to BEx 7.x and found a solution: right-clicking on any existing key figure in the report, choose 'select filter value'. The pop-up shows all available key figures, including the ones with Hide (can be shown).
