BEX query formula - extract year from date

Hi All,

i have a date in a column which i will use for one of my formula. The tricky thing is, that i need only the year information of that date.

The formula needs to do the following:

IF Year from Date last inventory count < current year THEN 1 ELSE 0

I know how to write that formula in BEX but i struggle to extract the Year from a date.

Can somebody help how to do this?
