Hi All,

I need to count different values in a Key Figures, for example:

I only need the "Total" or "Result" row; so in this case the correct number will be "4" .

Is there any way to get this? it has to conserve the correct count if the report change the drilldown characteristic.

Regards

Create one CKF and  then go to the properties of that CKF , then go to the calculation / aggregation tab and in the calculate single value as option and there work with the various option.

and check the report output.

Hope u got it,

Hi,

I understood the your requirement, for this requirement you need to do changes in Info provider level, let me know query is built on ODS or CUBE.

Goto the KF properties in BEx and select the option Calculate Result as Summation.

I need to get the single values in Count Key Figure in order to obtain the total of different values.

Not sure if I clearly understood your requirements. So, you want the total value captured in a Key Figure?

Create a Calculated Key Figure with the Formula SUMGT<KF>. That should give the total.

May be im not clear, i will try in a different mode...

I need to get the different values that form "Amount" Keyf figure, for example

Record-----------Key Figure "Amount"

===============================

#1-------------------$100  (this will be count)

#2-------------------$100  (this will not be count because its repeated)

#3-------------------$150  (this will be count)

#4...................$200  (this will be count)

===============================

------------------------3-------------------------------------

In the result Cell or in another Key Figure i need to obtain "3" because there are 3 different values (100, 150 and 200) in "Amount" Key Figure.

Now I understood what you exactly require

But I doubt if that can be achieved by using a key figure. You need to have a characteristic column which populates the same value as amount. Then you can use the exception aggregation for the count in BEx.
