Best Approach for Master Data Integration from SuccessFactors(SF) to S/4 HANA Public Cloud

Hello Experts,

We are planning to implement master data integration from SuccessFactors(SF) to S/4 HANA Public Cloud. I would like to know the best approach for this integration. specifically

1. Should we use SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP Master Data Integration (MDI) for this purpose?

2. Are there any additional recommended tools or services required to facilitate this integration

From My Research, I found that SAP MDI is often recommended for such integrations. also I found there are no standard Cost center and Organizational integration in SAP CPI for S4 HANA Public Cloud.

There is Standard I-flow for Employee Data Replication in SAP CPI but as per below post it should be used if our SAP S/4 HANA CLOUD is below 2308 Release.

However, I came across another blog that mentioned MDI is Moved to ABAP Adapter concept.

Hi @anildeep7 , thank you for your question. Please approach integration among members of the SAP Cloud Business Suite, like S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc. from a business perspective through the respective integration sope items. You find scope items in the SAP for Me application in the process navigator, here. For the respective scenario in question, I believe you may want to be looking at scope item JB1 (adjust for your region as needed). There, you'd find the exact response to your question:

"As of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2308 release, the standard way of integrating SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is via SAP Master Data Integration. Details are available on SAP Help Portal for SAP S/4HANA Cloud: Master Data Replication Using SAP Master Data Integration.

This scope item is only to be used if special reasons prevent you from using the standard way." For further details please consider the links provided.

Hi Andreas, Thanks for your reply and detailed explanation. upon my checks i found that scope item JB1 is referred in blog which i shared link(Correct me if i am wrong)of in my QnA Link:https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-members/integrate-sap-s4-hana-cloud-on-premise-with... and in the same blog it mentions that the standard way of integrating S4 HANA Cloud and SF EC is via SAP Master Data Integration. so i want to understant if SAP Master Data Integration is only the standard way today or it has been replaced by something else.
