Hi guys,
i am working on bank interface, they were giving two options
1.option 1: encryption:smime,connectivity:java https
2.option 2: encryption:pgp,connectivity:sftp
but bank is insisting to use option 1 for receiving data into SAP PI.
For option 1 what i need to configure in sender i am using SAP PO 7.5
1.https_aae OR SOAP
what are the configurations required please help me if it is https_aae or SOAP.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Saikumar,
I think you need to use SOAP Adapter for S/MIME. Please check with Bank in which format they will be sending data (SOAP-xml or something different).
Your S/MIME configuration in SOAP would be similar to Mail adapter. You can check old blog:
S/MIME Security for the MAIL-Adapter within XI
For single stack PI (your case PO), check below blogs how to load Keys and Certificates:
How to Load keys and certificates in SAP PI 7.3, SAP PO 7.3 EHP1 NWA’s Key Storage
