Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Ya you guessed it rite. I am working for a Beverage company and they had a new request for Back Order reporting. Something like the orders that had not delivered yet even after the fixed delivery date. I need to know, how other companies does the same for there commodities?

i think you got what i meant!

Thanks and Regards

Obily,

We have a service level report that measures the volume delivered V's ordered and also compare the dates delivered V's expected delivery date.

Weput the Expected Delivery Date from the Order into a Char called Service Level Date, then when our delivered is made it copies that Actual Delivery Date to the same characteristic.

Therefore we can compare orders based on the service level date to delivers.

I guess you are just reading a "buzz word" from a document that someone gave you? Can you explain what YOU mean by back order reporting...it can have very different meanings for very ompanies/processes...

in general I guess its reporting order for which the customer requested delivery date has passed the current date
