Avoid creation of duplicate condition contract

Dear Expert,

We are using SAP S/4  HANA-2023 on premise. system is allowing to create duplicate condition contract (for same customer, same validity period & same conditions). there is no duplicate entry check if there is an identical condition contract.

Can you please check what configuration is required to avoid creation of duplicate condition contract?

it could be activated on process variant level.

Type of Condition Contract Duplicates Check

Definition

Controls which fields of condition contracts are checked to determine duplicates.

Use

You have the following options:

• Standard
• Condition Contract Owner
• Sales Organization
• Distribution Channel
• Division
• Purchase Organization
• Company Code
• Process Variant
• Including Settlement Material
• All fields from standard check
• Settlement Material

You activate the check with the Condition Contract Duplicates Check Active parameter in the configuration of a condition contract process variant.
