I am using bi platform support tool and SAP team is really dong great job by updating tool so that tool is comparable with new version.
I feel it will be good is SAP provide auto version update of download option itself in tool.

Thanks for the post. Auto-update is in our backlog of features to add. Hopefully we can make this happen later in 2018.
