Authorizations for SAP Analysis for office Version 2.8

Hi Experts,

We have created two workbooks in SAP AFO (version 2.8) and we are in the process of assigning authorizations objects so that only restricted end users can access the workbooks in SAP AFO. i.e for example users 1,2 and 3 can only access workbook 1 and users 4,5 and 6 can access workbook2.

We have found out authorization object (S_RS_AO) and also Authorization field names (RSAO_OBJID,RSAO_OBJTY,RSZOWNER and ACTVT) that can be used for authorizations.

Here we would like to check if there is any Standard roles that we can use for authorization object (S_RS_AO) with respective field names as mentioned above ?.

It would be useful if any of you can forward any information on how we can make use of authorization objects and authorization field names mentioned above to prevent usage of workbooks by end users using T-code RSECADMINV.

Hi Ajay,

Authorizations can apply on source of AFO report. for example if you are consuming CDS view, so you can authorization on CDS view using access view control CDS.
