Authorization using Hierarchy Nodes

Experts,

Want to have some information on authorization based on hierarchy nodes. If we have a hierarchy on InfoObject and have our authorization setup on the hierarchy nodes, can we create another hierarchy on the same InfoObject without disturbing the current authorizations?

First hierarchy is being used only for authorization while the second hierarchy will be used for reporting.

Dear Yogesh,

If I read your question I understand that for the first hierarchy you already have an analysis authoriztion(The Infoobject is authorization relevant(See Infoobject RSA1, tab Business explorer))

If you have an other hierarchy for reporting you will also need to create an analysis authorization for this(transaction RSECADMIN). And to assign this to the reporting users.
