Associated Dimension in Detail Variable Disappears

Hi there,

Verion:  BOBJ 4.1 SPS2.

When creating a DETAIL VARIABLE on a report with MULTIPLE QUERIES which has MERGED OBJECTS the associated dimension is accepted but then is missing when you reopen the variable.  Also, when I use the variable it works like a regular dimension field off of the query (reacts as a full join, not a left join).

Note:  The UNIT is the only thing these 2 queries have in common.

Hi,

As per the below Sap notes similar issues are resolved in the BI 4.1 SP02.

Have a look on attached SAP Notes.Better to rasie a tictet with SAP support team  to know if this issue is resolved or not.

In both SAP Notes resolution is mentioned as

• This issue has been addressed by:
  • Support Pack 8 (SP08) for BI 4.0
  • Support Pack 2 (SP02) for BI 4.1

Workaround:

• Re-associate the missing associated merged dimension
