Hi,
I recently i was assigned to see the avaibility of a development, this development is focus on recreating the functionality of the LEAD action Associate account and contact.
As you might know this action let the user convert the Account and Contact without changing the Lead status so the user can still edit / modify it. I'm trying to do the same but using a custom action in the Lead.
Having this as a background i tried to recreated it but i still failed so i wanted to ask if this is possible to do and if so how can i do it?.
I have a few clues i already understand:
- The Customer and Contact doen't exists but the BusinessPartner does and their status are "In Preparation" .
- There's an action in the BusinessPartner that activate and change the status but i tried to used it and return an error message telling me i didn't the rights to execute that action.
