ASP .NET Framework version for BOXI R2 SP3

Hi, I have installed BOXI R1 SP3 on IIS in windows 2003 server. Everythings went fine but my Infoview/AdminLaunchpad is not coming.

I think the .NET version used by boxi is 1.1.4322 and I have 2.x version available in properties of website in IIS. At ASP .NET Tab I don't see version 2.x but I do see this version in WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET folder.

My first question is if boxi r2 sp3 works only in 1.1.4322 and if yes then how to get this version available to select.

Have you disabled Windows Enhanced Security? Control panel > add/remove > windows components

Thanks Tim, I don't see any security component available and selected in add/remove windows comopent. I do see a Application server and Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework selected. Do we expect Microsoft .NET 1.0 Frameowork too in this window. Its not present at all.

We already have web server installed by someone on 2 new server and I am installing in third server. When I check the ASP.NET version on those two servers then its showing 1.1.4322 but when I login into my new server and select propertied of the Businessobjects web site and then select configuration then in the .aspx Application extension mapping its showing 2.0.5077.

Now if I go with previous installation then its 1.x but my new installation is saying 2.x.

I checked url provided in the platform.txt file but it redirects me to sap home page.

you have to select windows components, all 2003 servers have windows enhanced security. and you must disable it if running the CMC on the server. Have you tried accessing it from another computer? Both 1.1 and 2.0 .net are supported in XIR2 and should work fine.

Hi Tim, Thanks for your suggestion. My Java Infoview/CMC is working fine after removing enhanced Internet explorer component. I am still getting error message for .NET Infoview. After solving access issue by aspnet_regiis -ga "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" from command line after reaching to v2.x framework folder.

Well like I said both 1.1 and 2.0 are supported, at this point if you can't get .net to work you should open a case to have an engineer help troubleshoot.

Thanks Tim, Both are working fine. I missed to update after using aspnet_regiis -ga "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" my .NET is also working fine. I have no issue now for this access.
