Ariba contract to SAP ECC with CIG

Hi,

We have the Ariba contract management and would like to integrate the contract to our SAP ECC. Do we need PI or CIG can handle to contract integration? What would be the master data require? Is it send with the master data program ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT under sourcing? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. We only using the Ariba Contract management without the sourcing. In this case, I assume that we still can use the master data program under Ariba strategic sourcing? When come to create project in CIG, we still create the project under "Ariba sourcing"?

Hello Fatt,

If you are using contract workspace, I am assuming you are using Ariba strategic sourcing suite. As you must be creating the contract as a result of awarding. So for entire strategic sourcing suite + contract workspace integration with ERP using CIG, the same master data is used. ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT program sends the master data which can be sent from backend. There are radio buttons on the program screen. You select the 'Sourcing & Contracts' radio button and you will get options what master data you want to send.

For Contract integration, CIG handles contract integration as well. On ERP side, as a part of CIG addon installation, ARBCI2 component must be installed. If you want to use PI with CIG, that is also possible. SAP provides, XI content for CIG integration. But CIG also can work without PI in direct connectivity.

In ARBCI2 component, the interface QuoteMessagePurchasingContract_Async_In_V1 creates/updates contract from contract workspace.
