Archiving Settlement documents with CO_KABR

Hi I'm trying to archive settlement documents with CO_KABR but not finding much in the SAP documents or posts about it.  I found that its supposed to ILM enabled but its not showing so does it need activated or something?  Any help pointers to documentation would be great.

If you want to schedule ILM enabled archiving, then you need to configure the system accordingly. 

1. Activate the business function ILM. 

2. Assign the ILM object(mapped to your archiving object) to an audit area for retention rules. 

3. Maintain active retention policy with relevant retention rules for your ILM object. 

With this settings in place, you will be able to schedule ILM enabled archiving.

thanks for responding but really my question is on CO_KARR - I have ILM enabled and have been doing archiving. I have documentation that says CO_KABR is ILM enabled but I can't find it anywhere so I'm trying to figure if I have to activate the object similar to using COPA2_XXXX for the first time
