Dear MDG Experts,
I'm trying to find out what controlls the Approver screen in MDG and disables the editing of all fields.
In my scenario I need the Approver to do some field changes (like the Master Data Specialist) and then press the Approve button.
Please advise if you know how to make the Approver screen fields editable (not read-only).
Thanks in advance,
Boris

Dear Boris,
It is possible for the Approver to do some field changes in the Change Request and then approve.
For achieving this you would need to edit the relevant status of the Change Request from the transaction MDGIMG.
I have explained this in detail for a similar requirement in the following SCN thread :
Hope this helps.

Hello Uday,
That's exactly what I needed I knew I was missing something.
So it's controlled by the CR Statuses.
That does the trick...
Thanks again,
Boris

Hello,
I have similar requirement for providing editable approval screen:
We have 2 workflows MDG-C and MDG-S, for MDG-S we need the the approval screen fields to be editable but for the MDG-C we need the screen to be un-editable, when i change the the status of CR to "Execution of Changes" both the workflow have editable approval screen. how can i control the status for specific worklfow?
Also, we have one other requirement where the approver should only be able to edit the Bank Details Section.
Please advice how these two requirement can be achieved.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Varun
