Application Designer - Pass variable prompt values to story/app with BW Live Connection Model

Hi Folks,

we are starting with application designer and some BW queries. One requirement is to have a similar feature like the report-report-interface. The user wants to select a data cell in a table and then start via a button another report (story or application designer app) that calls another BW query and uses the data cell to fill in the prompt variables.

I know I can pass filter values to stories etc. but I need to set the variable in the BW live connection prompts.
Is something like this possible?

In the BEX web world we had been able to do this:

Hi Axel,

You can also achieve this requirement by using NavigationUtils.openStory().
