Apostrophe before dimension values in AFO

Hello All,

We are using CDS view as source for AFO report. For all the dimension values there is a apostrophe (') before the value for the dimension value cell including the dimension column header.

Ex: if i have a 'CITY column with values are shown up like

'Delhi

'Paris

How to remove this apostrophe. Please suggest.

PS: this is built using live connection.

Hello Kiran,

The Analysis Office tool indeed adds this apostrophe as a prefix in all the dimension cells in all crosstabs. This is by design and cannot be removed.

The reason for this is to force Excel to handle these dimension cells' content as text, preventing Excel of displaying AO content incorrectly by changing its format automatically.
