Analytic Application Bookmark migration from development to production

When we migrate an SAC analytic application from development to production tenant, can we also migrate the global bookmarks present in the app or the bookmarks are always lost after migration?

Hi arijit.das,

Are you referring that the bookmarks on the production tenant are getting lost after importing the application/stories in the production tenant?

There is an option you need to pay attention when you are importing the content into the production tenant:

- when the check box "Drop Objects" is checked, then the bookmarks in product tenant will be overwritten /getting lost.

- when the check box "Drop Objects" is unchecked, then the bookmarks of dev and production tenant will merge together if the names of bookmarks are not the same between development tenant and production tenant. If the names of bookmarks between dev and production tenant are the same, then the bookmarks of dev tenant will overwrite the production tenant.

If you want to keep all bookmarks in production tenant and only update analytic application content, you can consider to remove bookmarks from source application in dev tenant and import it to production tenant with "Drop Object" unchecked.
