How to change prompt sequence in Analysis for office.

Do not forget to click on "Reset Datasource" in the AFO workbook.
Works fine for me.
In case of a workbook containing multiple queries, the sequence of the queries might also impact the variable sequence of the workbook.

I know to change the variable sequence in BEx but is there a way to change the Prompt (Variable in BEx) sequence in Analysis Office.

Hi Ganesh,

I don't think there is any option in Analysis to change the prompt sequence.

It directly refer the Bex Query and follow up what sequence is maintained there in the query.

Change the variable sequence of the BEx Query and that will change the order of the prompt sequence

To change the BEx variable sequence you do this in Query Properties

Hi Ganesh,

1) If you are talking about changing prompt in Webi report in InfoView

Edit query> Property > Prompt Order

You can specify order here.

2) You can change display order in Universe also .(in prompt syntax)
