Analysis for Office(AfO): Where to find the Row and Column in the design field ?

Hi Community,

I came across a problem that when I try to call on a CDS Query View, there is no rows and columns in the design area.

What I need is the windows below:

Does anyone know how to find out the rows and column windows in the design area?

Hi Kai,

Please also make sure that you are executing the CDS view via "Select Data Source for Analysis" button as shown below:

If you insert the data source using "Select Data Source for Defining Formulas", then you will not be able to see Rows and Columns panels.

Hello Kai,

Please check if the Excel option "Optimize for Compatibility" is selected as described in KBA 2670331.

If it is already set, please check if the issue is not related to the Office Theme, as described in KBA 3260910. If it works when using Colorful theme, then the issue is planned to be fixed in AO 2.8 SP17.
