Analysis for Office 2.2SP2 Use Variant

Hi - I am looking at Analysis for Office 2.2 SP2 and found that the Use Variants do not behave the same compared to 1.4 SP10.  I am able to use and save in 1.4 but not in 2.2.  Same exact report with same exact BW system and same user (Me).  Anyone have any experience with this?

I am not experiencing this but I have wide open access

Is it possible to do a security trace (STAUTHTRACE) on your BW backend to see if new authorizations are required? (just a guess)

Thanks Tammy - I found a setting in Ao_app,config: ShowDSVariantsForWorkbooksWithOneDS= true or false (false is the default value)

When set to true, (with my one DS report) is shows up (not greyed out).
