Analysis for excel 2.7 SAP System using Windows AD

After upgrade to 2.7 I have an issue with a popup for SAP connection running a Query from rercently used list. Picking a query from role menu is okey, but picking the same query from last used list a promt for sap connection pop up. Earlier version worked fine here.

Logged into the system using AD works fine, and expected result appears.

started analysis again and tried to run the same query frem recent used-list.

And then the issue appear. The SAP logon popup.

In 2.6 version and earlier, the popup doesn't appear.

Any idea to fix this issue?

2.7 SP2 is out now and fixes this issue...

I have had a reply from SAP...

"The reported issue has been fixed and the fix will most likely be included in Analysis Office 2.7 SP2"

I can confirm that on a preliminary test release it has resoved the issue...

2.7 SP2 is planned for CW 39, 2018.

I downgraded to version 2.0.7, and it works fine. I will stay there until SAP have an solution to this problem.

Hi Dag,

I have exactly the same issue and have raised a call with SAP. It works OK on 2.7.0 but after and including 2.7.1 the same happens.

I will keep this thread updated and let SAP know that other users are experiencing the same issue...
